Carlos is shown here tied with my border collie Tweedy for Rally HIGH COMBINED SCORE IN TRIAL!! Winston-Salem, NC Rally Trial, 2015. Both receiving their 6th RAE legs.
Winning HIGH COMBINED in Rally Obedience is the Highest honor in Rally Trials! Carlos scored 96 in both Advanced and Excellent classes on difficult courses at the Winston-Salem, NC Rally Trial!

Chihuahuas have always been one of my favorite breeds, and I dreamt of having one as a child. So, Carlos (pictured here) and Moonpie have been dreams come true for me. Cute, smart, feisty, and cuddly......who could want more? These two dogs have been some of my BEST dogs EVER in over 30 years in the dog world.
Here Carlos is pictured winning Best Opposite in the Central Carolina Puppy Sweepstakes as a 7 month old. He finished his championship in less shows than any dog I've shown in my career.. Since then Carlos got his CD in 3 straight shows, placing 3rd place once with high score of 193. Also greatly enjoying the new Rally competition, Carlos has completed all 3 Rally titles, giving him RN, RA, and RE. with two scores of 99 out of a possible 100!! He regularly takes placements in this sport, and he LOVES it...we both do. He's currently working on a CDX title.
Carlos is very verbal and knows over 100 words that I can prove he knows......I'm sure his vocabulary is larger than this in actuality. As a puppy, he was able to bring me 20 or more toys by name out of a pile of toys, including knowing the difference in 'big kitty' and 'little kitty'! His favorite toy is "Chippy".
I have been experimenting with Moonpie learning to identify color swatches, and so far she has been successful most of the time.
My chihuahuas are completely clicker trained, and it's wonderful to see them get so excited when I pick up the clicker or a target stick.

CARLOS GOES **HIGH COMBINED** IN THE rALLY TRIAL, WINSTON-SALEM, NC - 9-21-13
Amazing little Carlos, smallest dog in the Rally Trial, was the biggest winner!! With back to back scores of 96 and 96 in Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced, and first in Excellent and tied for first in Advanced, losing the runoff because of a few seconds in time (he has short legs!)..... he grabbed the Highest Score combined in those two classes, winning the biggest award available that evening. His was a performance even a really cranky old judge had to recognize! lol
